Tangaroa is a spirit in Oceanian mythology.

According to legend, Tangaroa created himself inside the original cosmic egg and then the world outside.

Tangaroa's home is the island of Rarotonga in the country of Cook Island.

The paradise island kingdom is located in the middle of the South Pacific. The fifteen islands, spread over an area the size of Europe, have 21,000 inhabitants. During a long stay in the country in 2006, the idea of starting the company Tangaroa AB was born.
